Slane is a multi award-winning blended Irish Whiskey. It is matured through our signature triple casked aging process, using virgin oak, ex-Tennessee whiskey and Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a smooth, yet complex and flavourful amplified taste experience.
Slane Whiskey Distillery is located on the grounds of Slane Castle, in the heart of the Boyne Valley. Although a new distillery with modern equipment, it honours the ancient art of Irish Whiskey Distilling and ensures that craft, graft and innovation is at the core of everything we do.
Food pairings include Toffee, digestive biscuit and raisin.
Palate: “TASTE Spicy at first, but quickly sweetened with rich caramel, vanilla and butterscotch, atop a deep layer of dried fruit. FINISH Lingering hints of dry fruit and caramelised wood sugar.”
